Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Indian skipper revealed that it was the idea of former Coach, Gary Kirsten to promote him up the order, in the Final of the World Cup 2011 against Sri Lanka.
The Men In Blue lifted the title on their home turf after Dhoni played a stupendous unbeaten knock of 91, which also included a six that clinched the victory against the Lankan Lions earlier this year.
"I hadn't planned to promote myself and play earlier. Gary asked me if I would go early. I thought with two spinners, maybe I should. It worked for me," said Dhoni.
Former South African coach, Mickey Arthur believes that Lonwabo Tsotsobe must play as the third seamer in the Proteas side when they play Australia in the Test series.
With the emergence of Pakistani- born leg spinner, Imran Tahir, Arthur feels it has given the team an added strike option, however, he also added  that the left-armer’s( Tsotsobe) ability to contain will be key against a strong Kangaroo batting line-up.
The teams will locks horns in the first of the two Test matches, on 9th of November.
Indian all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh says that he is recovering well after a broken finger and will be available for national team duties in the near future.
"I am improving, injury is also healing and pretty soon you will get to know when I will be in the team," he said.
The left-hander injured his finger in the second Test match on tour of England and has not played International cricket for over two months.
Former South African cricketer, Jonty Rhodes has praised Indian batsman, Virat Kohli and feels that the player has the ability to emulate the batting record of Men In Blue maestro, Sachin Tendulkar.
“With regards to the stats and the number of runs scored, he (Kohli) has shown that he can compete with the records of the likes of Sachin Tendulkar in the long run,” Rhodes said.
Kohli, 22, has featured in 66 One Day Internationals, scored well over 2000 runs at an impressive average of 45.38.
