Umesh Yadav injured, to miss rest of series

Pacer Umesh Yadav is likely to miss India's remaining two one-dayers against England as he suffered a finger injury during the third ODI in Mohali on Thursday.

Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said at a post-match press conference that Yadav sustained an injury on a finger in his left-hand while fielding and he is expected to miss the games in Mumbai and Kolkata.

"Umesh suffered an injury on his left-hand finger while trying to stop a Jonathan Trott shot. He will most likely miss the next two ODIs," said Dhoni.

"We have not taken a final decision but most likely either Varun Aaron or Sreenath Aravind will take his place in the remaining two ODIs," added Dhoni.

Umesh failed to impress in the third ODI today, conceding 71 runs without taking any wicket from his quota of 10 overs.
